Escapes Travel Guides is a series of richly illustrated travel planning and tourist information guides aimed at the leisure traveller looking for information and tips to plan their next holiday, short break or weekend getaway.

Family owned and run, we are totally independent of, and receive no external funding or support from, any tourism body or organisation.

Each of our guides contains destination guides, feature reviews and the latest news and offers from our members.

We specialise in promoting independently owned hotels and restaurants, and we particularly like those who are quirky and who take a responsible approach to tourism.

We place particular emphasis on some of the less-visited destinations too.  That's not to say we don't promote the popular ones, we just love discovering hidden gems!
